The Safety Rack is constructed of 2" x 2" square tube steel and 3/16" diameter cold rolled wire precision welded on 2" centers and finished in black powdercoat. Installation is easy and does not require drilling on trucks with stake pockets. When used with tie-down straps, the BackRack Safety Rack can help secure cargo from shifting in the truck bed. It's also an attractive and ideal rack for fleet and commercial vehicles, with a complete line of accessories available for mounting emergency lights, toolboxes, antennas, and more. The Safety Rack is bedliner and toolbox friendly, plus it leaves the brake light on the truck cab visible, which is important for safety. The BackRack Safety Rack is custom designed with applications to fit most pickup trucks. It is available with regular mounting brackets or 21" long toolbox mounting brackets, which allow for the easy attachment of an over-the-rail saddle style toolbox.
